Sebastiana Koutroumpanou studied Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

At the postgraduate level, she trained in Non-Directive – Interventional Psychotherapy and group facilitation, and later in Somato-Emotional Release and Craniosacral Therapy. She has attended seminars from various therapeutic schools (Gestalt, Art Therapy, Focusing, Person-Centered Therapy, Dramatherapy) and has collaborated with the psychiatric clinic of the University General Hospital of Patras.

For three years, she was an external associate at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Patras, under the guidance of Professor A. Kosmopoulos, both at the research level and in organizing student groups. She is a member of E.E.PS.E., the Hellenic Psychotherapy Association, a founding member of the Panhellenic Association for Non-Directive – Interventional Psychotherapy, and a founding member of the International Institute for Craniosacral Therapy.

Since 1995, she has worked as a psychotherapist, and since 2003 also as a craniosacral therapist, offering both individual and group sessions. She is the scientific advisor at the training and therapy center “Humantherapy” and the head of the educational program in Craniosacral Therapy and Non-Directive Somatic Psychotherapy – SomatoEmotional Release (N.D.S.P – S.E.R.).

Since 2005, she has been conducting psychotherapy training programs for new professionals, as well as trainings in bodywork therapy (C.S.T.) and in somatic psychotherapy (N.D.S.P. – S.E.R.). She is a member of the scientific committee of the international N.D.I. symposium and has given numerous presentations at national and European conferences.

She is the only psychotherapist in Greece who combines these two therapeutic approaches, thus offering the unique modality of N.D.C.S.T. (Non-Directive Craniosacral Therapy). She also organizes a variety of seminars for different groups in the general population (parents, children, educators, individuals with multiple sclerosis, etc.). She maintains ongoing collaborations with local organizations in the city where she resides, aiming to promote mental health.

In 2016, she published her first book titled “Touching the Body’s Memory”, which offers a scientific approach to the awakening of the body tissue memory.
