A Few Words About the “Humantherapy” Institute
The “Humantherapy” Institute was founded in 1996 by Sebastiana Koutroumpanou together with her colleague Evdokia Stamou, with the goal of developing the therapeutic methods they follow and promoting mental health.
Since then, the Institute has collaborated with the University of Patras, and has organized seminars for groups of educators, parents, and adolescents. It also developed a partnership with the Institute of Psychology and Research “AGORA” in Paris, offering seminars to the general public with guest speaker Michel Lobrot, Professor of Psychology and founder of the N.D.I. method.
The Institute has organized—and continues to organize—numerous talks, informational events, and open discussions on topics related to psychology and mental health. Its initiatives aim to disseminate and develop the Non-Directive approach in the fields of therapy, education, and social groups. Based on this approach, the Institute has established training programs in Somatic Psychotherapy, Craniosacral Therapy, and Professional Counseling.
It also offers supervision and support for new mental health professionals.
